e-KTP

e-KTP (electronic ID) card is a public service program that is currently being aggressively promoted by the government of Indonesia. Where the current population has been running the system is conventional and centralized data storage because the only people not registered in the population living in the area. The weakness of this system is easy to duplicate the data to the population resident identity card fraud.

With e-KTP  card, then the population will be centralized data storage, and can prevent the misuse of population data. e-KTP   card will eventually save the identities of people ranging from biographical data, fingerprints, signatures, to the retina records the population.

This time I do share the atmosphere of the citizens of Yogyakarta sedangn queued to record the data for eKTP :)

Green Gowes Funbike Angkasa Pura 1 (2012)

Last sunday, I had the opportunity to follow the fun bike event which is held by Angkasa Pura 1 Company. Fun bike to take the route Maguwoharjo areas which are still dominated the rice fields and a view of Mount Merapi stout, so that did not dampen the spirits of the participants to complete the entire route to be followed.

Not only the citizens of Yogyakarta who follow events held to commemorate the 48th anniversary of the company, fun bike was also attended by residents outside of Yogyakarta as residents Solo, Klaten, Purwerejo, and Semarang.

I see you

I found this man in the court of Mutiara hotel, Malioboro, was singing while playing a traditional musical instrument. Angklung. This man tried to attract the attention of the pedestrians to be willing to set aside a little money to put into the cans are placed in front of the father.

Maybe a little unique from this picture when I will capture this man, he suddenly raised his hand and acted his hand like a binoculars and direct it to me, perhaps in his heart, saying, "I see you"

Behind the TransJogja bus stop

I think the picture is a little unique because I am taking back to the passengers waiting at bus stops Transjogja. They sat patiently awaiting the arrival of public transport they will use.

Hot afternoon, light breeze, under a shady tree, while waiting for passengers who want to use rickshaw, it could not hurt to rest to bed to collect the lost power.

It must be admitted, a motorcycle is one practical vehicle suitable for use in the city of Yogyakarta. Yogyakarta city streets are not too wide and hard to find parking for cars, are among the reasons why the population of Jogjakarta would rather use a motorcycle.

Until it's no wonder we often see rows of neatly parked motorcycles equipped with a guard watching the parking motorcycles others, especially at shopping locations in the city of Yogyakarta.

Enjoying heat on Jogja Street

One of the atmosphere of the streets of Yogyakarta today. Hot sun does not inhibit the desire of the road users to always push their vehicles to reach the destination. And one of its most annoying when driving in the summer is a time to stop at intersections that have traffic lights. It sucks... But in compliance with the traffic and prevent unwanted accidents, we must obey it :)

Waiting for pickup

I remember when I took this picture at about 1 pm (Jogja time), when the kids come home from school. There is a direct return to their homes on foot, others are waiting for their parents pick each, like picture above.

I miss my first school days :)
